Cara Mengatur Do Not Disturb Pada Ponsel Google Pixel

 Setelah sekian lama baweh online tidak mengupdate content pada blog baweh belajar menulis online, pada kesempatan ini ingin menulis tentang bagaimana cara mengaktifkan fitur do not disturb terutama pada Sobat yang menggunakan Google Pixel.

 Mungkin sobat sering terganggu dengan notifikasi dari Android, tetai tidaklah harus begitu. Mengaktifkan mode "Do Not Disturb" adalah salah satu cara yang bisa sobat gunakan untuk membungkam pemberitahuan yang mengganggu pada saat sobat tidak membutuhkannya. Berikut adalah cara menyiapkannya pada ponsel Google Pixel.

Sebagian besar perangkat Android dan termasuk termasuk ponsel Google Pixel menyertakan beberapa pengaturan "Do Not Disturb". Ada banyak hal yang bisa sobat lakukan melalui fitur pengaturan ini dan meluangkan waktu untuk menyesuaikannya dapat meningkatkan pengalaman sobat menggunakan posel Google Pixel tersebut.

Bagaimana cara menyesuaikan pengaturan fitur "Do Not Disturb" pada ponsel Google Pixel ?

Pengaturan "Do Not Disturb" dapat sobat temukan pada pengaturan suara. Pertama, geser ke bawah dari atas layar dua kali, lalu ketuk ikon roda gigi untuk membuka menu pengaturan.

Buka Suara (atau Suara & Getaran) kemudian pilih "Do Not Disturb".

Pada bagian tersebut Sobat dapat memutuskan orang dan aplikasi mana saja yang dapat memberikan notifikasi walau Sobat telah mengaktifkan mode  "Do Not Disturb". 

Ketuk "Panggilan" untuk memilih orang mana yang dapat menelpon Sobat walau dalam mode  "Do Not Disturb". Selain orang yang Sobat pilih maka tidak dapat mengganggu ketika dalam mode  "Do Not Disturb".

Sobat dapat memilih salah satu opsi berikut, Pertama Kontak berbintang : Siapa saja yang sobat simpan sebagai kotak berbintang. Kedua Kontak : Siapa saja yang kontaknya sobat simpan dapat melakukan panggilan walau dalam mode  "Do Not Disturb". Ketiga Siapa Saja :  Siapa saja tetap bisa memanggil walaupun dalam mode  "Do Not Disturb". Keempat : Tidak Ada : Apabila opsi ini yang sobat pilih, maka tidak ada yagn dapat menghubungi sobat baweh online.

Jika Sobat memilih "Starred Contacts" /Kontak berbintang, sobat daapt mengetuk ikon roda gigi untuk menambahkan atau menghapus orang.Pilih ikon di pojok kanan atas untuk menambahkan kontak berbintang (yang ada gambar seperti orang)  dan atau mengetuk ikon bintang untuk menghapus seseorang dari kontak berbintang. Ketik panah kembali setelah selesai mengatur kontak yang dapat melakukan panggilan dalam mode "Do Not Disturb".

TAhap selanjutnya aktifkan toogle untuk "Izinkan penelepon berulang" jika sobat ingin seseorang dapat menyambung saat mereka menelepon untuk kedua kalinya dalam waktu 15 menit. Ketuk panah kembali setelah selesai pengaturan  "Do Not Disturb".

Selanjutnya kita akan meneruskan memanfaatkan mode  "Do Not Disturb" untuk :"Pesan". Pada pengaturan pesan saat mode  "Do Not Disturb" sama seperti pengaturan pada panggilan. Jika Sobat memilih "Starred Contacts". Sobat dapat menyesuaikan lagi kontak berbintang dengan mengetuk ikon roda gigi. Ketuk pada kembali setelah selesai.

Hal yang harus disiapkan pada bagian orang adalah soal "Percaakapan". Mulai di Android 11, Sobat dapat menyorot percakapan tertentu di aplikasi perpesanan. Dalam konteks mode  "Do Not Disturb"., mungkin Sobat tidak ingin diberitahu dika teman menghubungi Sobat di Facebook Messenger, tetapi sobat ingin tahu apakah mereka mengirim sobat SMS yang mendesar.

Terdapat tida opsi dalam percakapan (Conversations). Pertama Semua Percakapan : Setiap percakapan yang sobat pindahkan ke bagian percakan di notifikasi. Kedua Percakapan Prioritas : Percakapan yang sobat tandai sebagai prioritas. Ketiga Tidak Ada :  "Do Not Disturb" Abaikan semua percakapan.

Langkah selanjutnya setelah mengatur Panggilan dan Pesan adalah menyesuaikan pemberitahuan lain mana yang dapat diizinkan selama mode  "Do Not Disturb". Pilih alarm & Gangguan Lainnya.

Sobat akan melihat daftar jenis notifikasi dengan toogle di sebelahnya yang dapat sobat aktifkan /matikan. Piliha salah satu yang ingin Sobat lihat selama mode  "Do Not Disturb".

Bagian terakhir yang dibahas soal mode  "Do Not Disturb" adalah aplikasi. Ini menunjukkan aplikasi mana saja yang dapat memperingatkan sobat selama mode  "Do Not Disturb".Aplikasi yang dapat mengirimkan notifikasi walau dalam ode  "Do Not Disturb" ada pada bagian atas. Perhatikan bahwa mereka mungkin mengatkan beberapa pemberitahuan. Sobat daapt memilih aplikasi untuk menyesuaikan dengan tepat pemberitahuan mana yang boleh mengganggu saat mode  "Do Not Disturb".

Untuk dapat menambahkan lebih banyak aplikasi ke daftar ini ketuk "Add Apps". Setelah sobat klik akan diperluas dengan daftar lengkap aplikasi yang terinstal pada ponsel Google Pixel Sobat. Silahkan pilih notifikasi dari aplikasi saat mode  "Do Not Disturb".

Sobat akan diarahkan ke halaman dengan semua jenis pemberitahuan yang bisa datang dari aplikasi. Alihkan mode toogle untuk mengaktifkan dan menonaktifkannya selama mode  "Do Not Disturb".

Setelah selesai mengatur mode  "Do Not Disturb" Sobat dapat kembali ke pengaturan utama,  "Do Not Disturb". Hal berikutnya yang dapat Sobat lakukan adalah memilih berapa lama mode  "Do Not Disturb" akan berjalan dari pengaturan cepat ponsel android pixel yang sobat miliki.

Untuk hal tersebut iatas Sobat dapat memilih untuk tetap mengaktifkan mode  "Do Not Disturb" sampai sobat mematikannya sendiri. Kedua menyetel durasi waktu khusus atau bertanya setiap saat dan ketuk OK setelah sobat selesai mengatursemuannya.

 Langkah selanjutnya cara mengatur mode "Do Not Disturb"pada ponsel Google Pixel dan bisa dicoba untuk pengaturan ponsel android dari pabrikan lain dan ditunggu komentarnya. Tahap selanjutnya yaitu pemilihan "Opsi Tampilan Untuk Notifikasi Tersembunyi", ini akan menentukan notifikasi apa yang diblokir selama mode "Do Not Disturb" terlihat dan terdengar.

Pada bagian ini terdapat tiga pilihan. Pertama Tidak ada suara dari pemberitahuan : pada pilihan "Do Not Disturb" ini pemberitahuan tetap akan muncul namun tidak akan bersuara. Kedua Tidak ada visual/Suara dari pemberitahuan : Sobat tidak akan melihat/mendengar pemberitahuan. Ketiga Kustom : Pilih langkah ini untuk membuat pilihan sobat secara spesifik tentang bagaimana pemberitahuan muncul saat mode "Do Not Disturb".

Apabila sobat memilih kustom ketuk ikon roda gigi untuk menampilkan opsi pilihan. Sobat dapat memilih beberapa variabel berbeda untuk menentukan dengan tepat bagaimana pemberitahuan akan muncul dalam situasi yang berbeda.

Dan pengaturan  "Do Not Disturb" Pada Ponsel Pixel yang terakhir yaitu mengatur jadwal mode  "Do Not Disturb". Tap "Jadwal" Sobat akan melihat beberapa jadwal prasetel yang dapat sobat gunakan. Apabila sobat telah membuat jadwal mode waktu tidur di ponsel, maka mode tersebut akan munncul dan sobat dapat memanfaatkannya.

Untuk membuat jadwal khusus, Sobat dapat mengetuk "Add more" di bagian bawah, Sobat akan diminta untuk memilih jenis jadwal terlebih dahulu. "Schedule" akan menjalankan mode  "Do Not Disturb" berdasarkan acara kalender. "Time" akan menjalakan mode  "Do Not Disturb" pada waktu tertentu.

Setelah selesai semua proses pengaturan  "Do Not Disturb", Sobat dapat mengaktifkannya kapan saja diantara cara mengaktifkan mode  "Do Not Disturb" dengan pergi ke pengaturan>Suara>Do Not Disturb dan ketuk tomol "Turn On Now". Selamat Mode Jangan Ganggu pada Ponsel Google Pixel sedang berjalan.

Google Disables Realtime Search Result

Google search engines said today that it has temorarily disabled its Realtime search function in the wake of the introduction of its social network Google+.

 The feature was developed to integrate real-time data from Twitter and other social networking sites. The option for the feature has been removed from the right side of Google's search bar, and the feature's Web page now contains a 404 message.

"We've temporarily disabled google.com/realtime, we're exploring how to incorporate Google+ into this functionality, so stay tuned," the company said on its Google Realtime Twitter feed.

Google began indexing real-time Twitter message in its search results in 2009, but apparently that arrangement with the microblogging site has expired.

"Since October of 2009, we have had an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in our search results through a special feed, and that agreement expired on July 2nd," a Google representative told SearchEngineLand." while we will not have access to this special feed from Twitter, information on Twitter that's publicly available to our crawlers will still be search-able and and discoverable on Google".

When Realtime returns, it will feature content from a variety of sources, not just Google+, the company's recently unveiled social network, Google told SearchEngineLand.

YouTube Top Online Video Content Viewership In US : ComScore

Online Video reached83.3% of US Internet audience last month. Digital business analytic s company ComScore has said that Google-owned YouTube topped the online video content viewership last month.

New data released from the comScore Video Matrix service showed that 176 million US Internet users watched online video content in May for an average of 15.9 hours per viewer. The audience engaged in more than 5.6 million viewing sessions in the month.

Online video reached 83.3% of the US Internet audience. The study found that Google sites, driven primarily by video viewing at YouTube.com, ranked as the top online video content property in May with 147.2 million unique viewers, followed by VEVO with 60.4 million viewers and Yahoo sites with 55.5 million viewers.

Social networking sites like Facebook came in fourth with 48.2 million viewers, while Viacom Digital ranked fifth with 46.5 million viewers, said comScore.

Google sites also had the highest number of viewing sessions with more than 2.1 billion, and highest time spent per viewer at 311 minutes, crossing the 5-hour mark for the first time.

In the online ad world, the study found that Americans viewed 4.6 billion video ads in May, with Hulu generating the highest number of video ad impressions at more than 1.3 million. Video ads reached 45% of the total US population an average of 34 times during the month.

Tremor Media Video Network ranked second overall (and highest among video ad networks) with 700.8 million ad views, followed by Adap.tv with 642 million and BrightRoll Video Network with 565 million.

Time spent watching videos ads totaled more than 2.0 billion minutes during the month, with Hulu delivered the highest frequency of video ads to its viewers with an average of 48 over the course of the month, said study.

Underage kids are flocking to social networking sites like facebook, foursquare, and formspring. Are these sites safe for kids ? We all know that the legal age to use social networking sites like Tweeter, Facebook and Foursquare is 13. Yet, we all probably also know of least one if not several kids, who are younger than 13 and are using the sites.

Forget playgrounds and Pokemon cards, young kids are flocking to social networking sites in record numbers. According to a recent survey by Costumer Reports magazine, about 2.5 million Facebook users are 11 or 12 years old, and nearly 5 million Facebook users are under the age of 10.

Technically, Facebook-and other social networking sites like Google, Foursquare, and Formspring-sets the minimum age at 13 and requires new users to enter their birth date to confirm they meet the age requirements, but there is nothing they can do if a kid who was born in 2002 enters 1872 as her year of birth.

So is it a big deal? after all, 13 is just some arbitrary age set by the companies, right? The problem is that even with careful parental supervision, the potential for cyber-bullying during the tween years is huge, and kids of that young age may not be able to distance themselves from the negative comments.

Strict privacy settings can help to protect underage kids on Facebook, but it's another site, Formspring, that has experts really worried. The site is relatively new-it has only been around for 18 months, but it is sweeping through middle schools and high schools like wild fire. It's similar to facebook in that it lets users set up a profile and connect with friends. But rather then just post boring old status updates, Formspring prompts users with questions. Internet Privacy VS Social Networking Sites

California is currently considering legislation that would change The Privacy Protection of many social networking sites, such as Facebook, Google. The bill, Senate Bill 242, was created as an effort to ensure that the personal information of users of these sites would not be shared without their consent.

To achieve this goal, the bill would require users to specify their privacy settings as part of the process for signing up for an account. It would also force these companies to institute default privacy settings that don't give out more than a user's name and place of residence. Although there have been no talks of passing this type of bill in Florida, this legislation would be the wrong move for this state and should also not be passed in California.

In a letter to State Sen. Ellen Corbett (D), an alliance of Internet companies, trade groups and other technological organizations rightly pointed out that this would increase the operating costs for these groups. Under the bill, companies must remove any information that a user wants removed within 48 hours or face a $10.000 fine, according to the Huffington Post. This could potentially force sites like Facebook to begin changing for their service, which will probably be unpopular with users. It could end up suppressing the growth of these sites and instead decrease the amount of people using them.

The bill also empowers parents to request that social networking sites remove information that a minor has posted online. It essentially makes these sites play the role of social worker, acting as the middle man between the parent and the child. While it may sound righteous to give parents this power over websites, the reality is that these sites could be inundated with an avalanche of requests from parents. Components of the legislation claim that these is a potential first amendment violation with this bill because it restricts the user's ability to "continue speaking as desired". The first amendment prohibits the government from restricting many forms of speech, with certain exception such as hate speech. This law is a potential violation of this amendment because it forces people to hide most of their information until they have chosen otherwise. This is due to the provision that requires social sites to institute default privacy settings. It could also have a slippery slope effect. The government could feel even more empowered to institute stricter privacy standards, possibly determining on its own what information a user is allowed to provide to the public. Passing this law in California could set off a trend, where many other states decide to follow suit.

This legislation should not be passed in California and should not be considered in Florida or other states. It is an infringement on the individual liberty of citizens. Social networking sites already provide privacy settings for users, and individuals should be held accountable to learn how to adjust these settings when they sign up for an account.

It is not the role of the government to come in and try to be the mother hen by forcing social networking sites to implement default privacy settings in the name of protecting users. This legislation unfairly singles out and cracks down on social networking sites and restricts the ability of individuals to speak freely, is should not be actualized. How about You ?

Google Music Launching Tuesday Without Label Licenses

This is virtually identical to Amazon's Cloud Drive, with a few differences, Most notably, the service is available on a limited, invite-only basis limited to U.S users. Those wanting to use the service will have to request an invite at google.music.com, with priority given to those with the Motorola Xoom tablet and to attendees of the I/0 conference. Additionally, Google is limiting the number of songs that can be uploaded to the music locker to 20,000. The service is free while in beta, and the company would not comment on what future pricing options it may have planned.

Clearly, this is not the music service google wanted to offer, and google director of content partnerships Zahavah Levine who led the company's negotiations with the major label made it clear who she feels is to blame.

"we've been in negotiations with the industry for a different set of features, with mixed results," she told Billboard the night before the announcement was made. "(But) a couple of major labels were less focused on innovation and more on demanding unreasonable and unsustainable business terms".

Sources tell Billboard that Sony Music Group and Universal Music Group proved the bottlenecks inn this case. Google wanted to offer a scan-and-match style locker service-where instead of uploading different copies of the same track to store in a locker for each users, the service would scan user's libraries and match the songs they own to a centralized server, paying rightholders for each stream. Without the rights to do so, the message from google is clear-either get on board or we'll move on without you.

Driving the launch is the completion of Google's new music player app, which will also be unveiled tomorrow. The app is for Android devices that anyone can download. It can be used to play any music stored on Android devices, but can't access music from the cloud unless users are part of the beta.

Insiders reveal that the app was only fully backed about six weeks ago, and until that app was finished Google had no intention of launching any kind of music service-unlicensed or otherwise. Getting this music player out was obviously a priority for Google, so it could start establishing Android products as music devices in their own right.

While it may not Google ultimately has in mind. for instance, the music app has an instant mix feature that creates a playlist based on a single song. The service analyzes the song's characteristics and pulls other similar songs from the users music library. Another cool feature is that the playlists created can be synched across devices. So playlists created on a user's mobile phone will immediately show up on a tablet device or Google account online. There's no need to transfer files between devices.

• All music available to each device is available in a single view, meaning users won't see one list for music stored native on the device and another list of music stored in the locker
• Audio quality for streaming files can be as high as 320kbps if the device and network supports it.

Levine stressed that many more features may be added to the service over time, and that google will continue to seek licenses with the major labels.

"A large segment of the music industry worked cooperatively and was extremely helpful sorting out the issues of online licensing", she said, giving particular credit to the independent label and publishing communities. "We certainly remain open to partnerships with the music industry for new features and functionality. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long relationship with music and users and helping users engage with music and artist and fans".
